EXQUISITE CORPSE (2025)

(W.I.P) Collaborated with peers to create an animated "Exquisite Corpse" film.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

Sheet I prepared for Jillian and I. Drawn in ToonBoom Harmony. The other character in my section, Siobhan, was created by Landon Arroyo. Apple is inspired by characters and TV shows such as Chowder, Kirby, Hello Kitty, Yin, Yang, Yo, and The Powerpuff Girls. She's a small red and yellow creature with rabbit-like qualities and apple slice ears. I wanted her to evoke an unconventional cuteness. Isn't she funny looking?

PERIWINKLE (2025)

The goods are MISSING. Following a lucrative heist, former tightrope walker turned criminal Winkle tries to force a confession out of his magician turned partner-in-crime, Peri, who he believes to be responsible.

VICTOR WESTIN PSA (2025)

This is one of a larger series of videos within the Victor Westin multimedia project, which chronicles the eponymous candidate through a presidential campaign set in 1976.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

Jake's vision: Evoke motifs from the 70s, take inspiration from Schoolhouse Rock and Peanuts. I only had November to complete it from start to finish. No time for comprehensive character sheets. I drew up an idea, got it approved, and had to go-go-go. Some elements changed along the way.

ABOUT ME

Hey, I’m Emma! I’m a Director and Animator from the San Francisco Bay Area, currently pursuing a BFA in 2D animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design.It’s a priority of mine not just to immerse myself in my craft, but to expose myself to creatives of all types. I have acquired a diverse set of studio experiences in Film, Graphic Design, and Sound, all of which have greatly influenced my work as an Artist, Animator, Writer, and Storyteller. To me, having a rich inner life is an essential complement to my rigorous artistic pursuits—my close friends and community inspire, motivate, and support me through my greatest challenges. In my experience, some of my very best work has come from taking a step back from the art world and allowing myself to unwind.Music is one of my biggest influences. I’m most influenced by the Britpop, Shoegaze, and Emo subgenres. That said, I’m a fan of lots under the alternative rock umbrella. When it comes to my work as an Animator and Character Designer, I look to artists like Stephen Hillenburg, Ai Yazawa, Hayao Miyazaki, Genndy Tartakovsky, and Craig McCracken for inspiration.
